Frances Henderson
Dr. Frances Henderson joined the School of Government as adjunct faculty in 2017. She has thirty years of experience in nonprofit management, having served as a fellow at the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation and as Executive Ddirector of two area nonprofits.
Since 1991, she has led the Dispute Settlement Center Inc., a community mediation center. She is certified by the NC Dispute Resolution Commission as mediator for Mediated Settlement Conferences and Clerk of Court–referred matters. Henderson, a lawyer, is a member of the NC Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section Council and has been elected to the NC Academy of Superior Court Mediators. She is a graduate of Guilford College and earnd her JD degree from UNC School of Law.
