Elizabeth Hall

As the Associate Vice Chancellor of the University’s Equal Opportunity and Compliance Office, Elizabeth Hall leads the University’s efforts to adhere to federal and state anti-discrimination laws, including but not limited to, Titles VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

As the Title IX Coordinator, Elizabeth is responsible for coordinating the University’s efforts to comply with and carry out its responsibilities under Title IX, which prohibits sex discrimination in all operations of the University, as well as retaliation. Elizabeth leads the University’s response and compliance efforts related to Title IX, coordinates resources for those affected by sexual harassment and sexual violence, organizes training and awareness efforts, and monitors the implementation of the University’s discrimination and sexual violence policy.

Elizabeth is also responsible for the University’s policies and procedures that address the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and federal and state regulations for individuals with disabilities. She facilitates the ADA accommodation process for faculty and staff and coordinates ADA training. She is also responsible for the University’s Responsible Employee designations and training. Elizabeth previously worked as an investigator with the EOC for over two years. Prior to joining the team, Elizabeth was a litigator in Raleigh, North Carolina and handled appeals in state and federal courts. Elizabeth graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned her J.D. from the Duke University School of Law.
