Carolina Forum for Education and Diplomacy

The Carolina Forum for Education and Diplomacy (CFED) develops educational experiences connecting the world of international affairs to the academic world – with a special focus on literature and the liberal arts – in order to promote cultural literacy and global understanding. By participating in CFED, students will enjoy unique opportunities to work with the Transatlantic Forum for Education and Diplomacy (TFED), a non-profit/NGO that allows UNC students to engage with global thought leaders, dignitaries, leading academics, diplomats, and ambassadors.

Carolina Forum for Ethics

The Carolina Forum for Ethics will further the objectives of the Parr Center through the facilitation of informed, nonpartisan inquiry about ethical matters as well as thoughtful engagement with both the ‘Big Questions’ and the most pressing issues of our day. We will accomplish this through discussions, guest speakers, films, and other events. We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment open to all students, staff, and faculty.

Carolina International Relations Association

CIRA is UNC’s leading international affairs club, engaging undergraduates across the university on the global issues of today. Through our Model United Nations team, campus affairs branch and publications, general body meetings, campus-wide events, and social opportunities, there are a variety of ways to get involved!

Peace, War, and Defense Association

PWADA serves to connect PWAD majors with alumni and other professionals in the fields of national security, defense, intelligence, and international affairs. Members of the PWADA gain access to career information provided from PWAD alumni and other professionals in the fields of national security, intelligence, defense, and international affairs.  We have alumni who routinely offer to look over resumes and cover letters in addition to answering career related questions our members have. Our vision is to establish a student-alumni network in which we can connect current students with PWAD graduates.
