Mohammed Eid is a former Rotary Peace Fellow, and alumnus of the Global Studies graduate program at UNC-Chapel Hill. He also received the International Development Certificate from Duke University and a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics from the University of Southampton in England.
Most recently, Mohammed worked as the Research and Development Program Officer at the National Committee of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) in Washington, DC. Before arriving in the US in 2017, Mohammed lived in the Gaza Strip, Palestine, and worked for the UNRWA as an emergency response specialist, providing relief and humanitarian aid to refugees and victims of conflict. He also worked as an education development specialist for the same agency since 2011.
